Welcome to Deery's restaurant steak & wine

I think of Deery’s as an extension of my family home. My Father bought the Story Bridge Hotel when I was just 5 years old, and I grew up upstairs and then in our family home across the road. As I watched the hotel evolve from a ‘village pub’ to be restored to its original glory; an idea took hold.

Only the best ingredients

I wanted to source the freshest ingredients from local farms and pair top-quality steak with exquisite wines. In essence, I wanted to create a place where you feel at home – while indulging in Brisbane’s best steak.

My sister Jane and I opened Deery’s in 1994, with the hope it would become iconic for fine dining experience, as well as its history.

As we celebrate 30 years this year, I think we’ve cracked it. I’m pruod of everything we’ve achieved – all thanks to our loyal customers and the community we’ve created.
